In this article, we step through connecting Pardot and Metadata.
STEP 1 - Get Pardot Business ID
Salesforce Administrators have access to Pardot Business Id. You can get Pardot Business Id by following these steps:

Login to Salesforce.

Enter “Pardot Account Setup” in setup in the Quick Find Box.

Your Pardot Business Unit ID begins with "0Uv" and is 18 characters long.

If you cannot access the Pardot Account Setup information, ask your Salesforce Administrator to provide you with the Pardot Business Unit ID.
Step 2 - Connect Pardot and Salesforce

Log in to Pardot using “Salesforce Login”

Enter your Salesforce username and password

Verify your Pardot account to create linkage to your Salesforce account

Enter your existing Pardot username and password.

STEP 3 - Connect Pardot and Metadata

Navigate to Integration page.
- Click Connect in the Marketing Automation box
- Select Salesforce Pardot
- Click Next

Click Authenticate

You will be redirected to Salesforce login page where you will login using your CRM username and Password.

Enter your Pardot Business Id

Choose your API version
-
Click Submit

Pardot Campaign
When Leads are pushed to Pardot we will automatically associate with the oldest campaign in your Pardot. At this time it is currently not possible to configure this, but you can use an automation rule to update when a specific utm_campaign is set and have that update the Pardot Campaign.
