Get Started: Add Beneficiary for Meta/Instagram

If these details are not added and you try to launch Meta/Instagram campaigns they will fail until added.

Error examples:

Invalid parameter. Regional regulated categories value required: To publish ads that include locations in Singapore, use the following value for regional regulated categories: SINGAPORE_UNIVERSAL"

 

To add Beneficiary please follow these steps:

1. Go to your Meta Ad Manager here
2. Select Advertising settings on the left panel and choose Verifications and ad transparency:

3. Ensure your Ad account is currently selected in the top right corner.

4. Select Change and set the Beneficiary and Payer.

Assign a Beneficiary for all countries listed that you plan to advertise for.

5. After adding default beneficiary and payer go here - https://business.facebook.com/billing_hub/accounts/details select your ad account from the top right and ensure the payment information you have added includes all your business information.

6. Once this is completed please reconnect the Meta integration to ensure that Beneficiary is now showing.
