Note: We do not leverage breakpoints as our method of identifying device type, so shrinking the browser will not activate tablet and mobile experiences. You will need to use the actual device type or browser developer tools to load the site with the tablet or mobile experience.
When you enter the Web Personalization Studio, by default, you are in the Desktop device view. When creating reactions in this view, you create Reactions that are only shown on Desktop devices.
To create Reactions for Mobile and Tablet devices, you need to change the device view.
The reason we prompt you to create Reactions for each device is because we have designed them with the appropriate dimensions to remain aesthetically correct for the device type.
To change device view, find the 'Device' icon on the top left side in the Web Personalization Studio:
Click on the icon and a dropdown menu will appear with two other device types: Tablet and Mobile.
Click on the device you want to create Reactions for and the view will change accordingly. For example, Mobile will look like this:
