Target existing contacts, accelerate pipeline and create exclusion lists using Marketing Automation Contact Audiences.
Common uses
- You want to engage an audience that has previously shown interest in your brand but don't want to use Salesforce Contacts to do it.
- You want to accelerate pipeline and target contacts linked to open opportunities.
- You want to create and add exclusion lists to campaigns focused on generating net new logos.
How to build your audience
Go to Audiences > Add New Audience.
Click Marketing Automation Contacts.
Enter the audience name.
Tip: Use a naming convention like: AudienceType_ListName (eg, Marketo_ExistingMDLeads).
Select Smart List or Static List depending on the type of list you want to import.
Select the list you want to use.
Note: If you do not see your list, click Import List, enter the ID of the list and Save to add your list.

Note: For Marketo it is important that the URL starts with https://engage-ab.marketo.com/ if the URL is different ( experience.adobe.com ) the import won't work. If you need help with this step, please reach out to support as we can help to adjust the URL and how it should appear when importing the list.
Click Add Selected.
Enable or disable Daily Refresh (Dynamic) depending on whether you want to have your audience automatically refreshed with the latest data on a daily basis.
Click Create Audience.
