SUMMARY
You can build G2 Audiences directly from our platform.
Follow these steps to integrate G2 account to the platform and create different Audiences.
The following Audience types are available:

Static G2 contact type audience for Linkedin and Facebook

Dynamic G2 account list for LinkedIn Native Targeting

Dynamic G2 contact type audience for LinkedIn and Facebook
INTEGRATION
STEP 1

Get G2 API key from G2.

Go To MyG2 → Integrations → API Tokens.

You can create a new token or use an existing token.

STEP 2

Integration with Metadata
-
Go to Metadata → Integrations
-
Click on Connect on G2 Intent Data snippet
-
Enter API key and click Connect
-

STEP 3
-
Please ensure you have enabled “Are you using Metadata.io” flag.

Go to MyG2 → Integrations → Integration Hub → Metadata.io.

You can scroll to the bottom of the page to enable this setting and set the toggle to “Active”.

AUDIENCES
STATIC G2 Intent Data - “Contact Type” on Linkedin and Facebook
HOW IT WORKS
Metadata will retrieve accounts from G2 based on the specified timeframe, creates Contact type audience from metadata datasources and then push it to Facebook and Linkedin. The audience will not be updated after the initial creation.

Enter the historical data period.

G2 intent account list will be pulled for the specified period.

Audience will be created based on this timeframe specified

The default value is set to 90 days.

This field can have a maximum value of 365, you can pull list of G2 Intent Accounts from the last 1 year.

The audience will not be refreshed.

Contact Criteria are based on Metadata’s contact datasources

DYNAMIC G2 Intent Data - “Account Type” for LinkedIn Native Targeting
HOW IT WORKS
Metadata will dynamically add and remove accounts from this audience in Linkedin once created based on the specified timeframe. The size of the audience at the experiment level will update daily.

G2 INTENT ACCOUNTS

Enter the historical data period.

G2 intent account list will be pulled for the specified period and will be pushed to LinkedIn. LinkedIn then creates the contact audience.

The default value is set to 90 days.

This field can have a maximum value of 365, you can pull list of G2 Intent Accounts from the last 1 year.

The audience will be refreshed daily, new accounts will get added to your LinkedIn Audience and accounts older than the number of days specified in the configuration, will be removed from the audience.

HOW IT WORKS
Metadata will retrieve accounts from G2 based on the specified timeframe every day, create contact type audience on Facebook and Linkedin, and update the contact type audience in Facebook and Linkedin on a daily basis. To view the entire Account list as well daily updates, navigate to the Library.

G2 INTENT ACCOUNTS

Enter the historical data period.

G2 intent account list will be pulled for the specified period.

Metadata will use this timeframe to keep your account list rolling for your audience - accounts older than the number of days specified in this configuration will be removed from both LinkedIn/Facebook audiences. For example, if you specify 30 days in the configuration, we will pull accounts for the last 30 days from G2, and going forward, we will be deleting accounts older than 30 days from your audiences.
