What does it do?
Since display tends to be used for brand awareness, we provide the pixel for you to set it up with a site visitor's objective, meaning that is going to capture traffic. This allows us to create audiences based on that traffic pool and build a remarketing strategy.
Where is the data sent?
The pixel is triggered when a person visits your site, and all it does is that it allows you to re-target them, similar to how Facebook and LinkedIn pixels work.
How do I get access to the pixel?
If Display is included in your Metadata contract, your implementation specialist will work with you so you can install it.
How to embed it?
You should install the pixel via Google Tag Manager as a Custom Image Tag as shown here across all pages of the website.
